I shared my perspective as a local born and raised in Charleston and Mt. Pleasant and witnessing the massive growth in the lowcountry. Some of my favorite tips include:
Eat: If you know where you want to eat, make reservation sooner rather than later! Some of my recent favorites include The Quinte, Little Jack’s, Basic Kitchen, Hall’s Gospel Brunch.
Stay: If you are coming to stay, there are so many options. Some include: The Dewberry (and get a drink at the Citrus Club), The Charleston Place, Hotel Emeline, Hotel Bennett, Zero George, Mills House and more.
Do: If you really want to see Charleston- hit the pavement! Walk South of Broad to see the prettiest window boxes, the Battery and Rainbow Row for amazing homes and King Street for window shopping. Walk the Ravenel bridge for the best views in town and a great workout, that incline is tough. There are great walking tours available too!
