I have always wanted a porch full of pumpkins. In fact, each year I seem to add a little more. I’ve learned a few fall decor tips along the way to help you decorate for fall with fresh pumpkins!

A few thoughts:

*Save Money

Shopping around is worth it. It pays to shop around. My last visit shoes that Trader Joe’s had the orange and white pumpkins for $3.99.  That’s crazy good! Whole Foods had the best selection but Publix had the best priced gourds ($5.99) and statement pumpkins. You only need a few of the statement pumpkins, fill most of the porch with orange and white to save money.

*Symmetry

Buy 2 of each variety for symmetry. Also, think about what is behind the pumpkins. Place the orange ones in front of the white trim and white ones in front of brick.

*Keep them Fresh

Coat pumpkins with liquid floor wax to help seal them and keep them fresh. No one wants rotted pumpkins! You can find a whole video of this on my reels on Instagram. I ordered the floor wax off of Amazon. It’s an Old Wives Tale I’m giving a try!

*Use What You Have!

Look around the house for bricks, planters (place them upside down), and other things that can help you create height with your display.

*Filler is your Friend!

Buy lots of the inexpensive mini pumpkins in all sizes. They are great filler! Greenery works great here too.

Hope these fall decor tips help! Tag me in your porch pictures on Instagram!
