Want to win the Super Bowl without ever stepping on the field? Serve these Super Bowl party appetizers and they will forget about the game!
Our fav super bowl party appetizer is damn dip. This warm sausage dip that is always a crowd pleaser! Some friends call it Man Dip, but we have always called it “Damn Dip” (pardon my French) , because you can’t stop eating after just one scoop. This is super simple to make.
Combine browned Jimmy Dean Sausage with 1 pkg or cream cheese and 1 can of rotel (drained), simmer until melted and mixed together. Serve with Scoops. Use can choose hot, medium or mild for the sausage and rotel. I suggest serving it in a mini crock pot. You can also keep extra warming on the side and refilling the dip every hour or so if that suits your theme more!
Another super bowl party appetizer that will score points is ham delights.
Here’s the tried and true Ham Delight Recipe:
2 packages of party rolls (Hawaiian, not sweet)
1 lb. Thinly sliced ham
1 Package white American sliced cheese (The individally wrapped ones, it melts the best of all!)
1 stick butter
2 tbsp mustard
1 tbsp of Worcestershire
2 tbsp poppy seeds
1/4 Finely chopped onion (optional)
theCollarfind tip: Slice the ham delights before baking.
Melt the butter, add mustard, worcestershire and poppy seeds. Place half of the mixture on the bottom half of bread. Layer the ham and cheese, and onion. Place the top half back on and use the rest of the butter mixture to coat. Cover in foil and bake at 300 for 20 minutes.
