Sometimes, especially lately, we need a little pick me up. Fresh flowers can often do the trick, but they can be pricey to fill your home with every week. Follow these ways to style flowers, even ones from the grocery store, in your home and brighten up your decor and your day!

Change up your vessel

I placed these orange tulips from Trader Joes in this large blue jug I have in my kitchen. The secret: Place a tall glass inside of the jug that holds the water so they will stay alive. Changing up the container can change up the look of your arrangement. Incorporate them into existing decor. Flowers can be placed in so many places if you just look around! I placed these below in a ginger jar that sits on our built ins, and they provided a perfect pop of color! Look at your bookshelves too, the number of was you can incorporate them may surprise you!

Change up the height

It’s ok to trim flowers to a smaller height to work in a smaller vessel. I love how these tulips turned out with ferns I cut from my front porch planters. theCollarfind tip: I used a rocks glass to hold the water and placed it inside this planter. I then placed the trimmed tulips in it. I cute longer macho fern pieces from our yard to surround the flowers.

Let the vessel do the talking! Don’t overthink how to style flowers, let the vase make the statement! I’ve linked some of my favorite ones below!
