Here it is TheCollarfind Charleston Guide- Where to Eat!

The most common question I receive on @thecollarfind is about my hometown, making me feel well-equipped to provide you with a Charleston Guide. Let’s kick off with where to eat in Charleston, South Carolina which is the most frequent message in my dm’s on @thecollarfind. There are so many to choose from, it’s hard to pick a favorite!

Drinks at the Palmetto Hotel

BRUNCH

Being a brunch enthusiast, some of my top picks include Miller’s All Day, The Daily and Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit for a quick bite. People love Harken Cafe too. For a fancier option, Charleston Grill is a top spot and the Hall’s Gospel Brunch is amazing on Sundays, it’s our family’s go to spot for special occassions. Make sure to reserve well in advance!

The best Burger from Little Jack’s Tavern

LUNCH
Among my favorite lunch spots are Little Jack’s (their burger is exceptional), Basic Kitchen (ideal for King Street shoppers- I love the beet margarita), Felix (try their limoncello and truffle fries), Leon’s (for fried chicken and frose and famous people sightings), Rancho Lewis (great for energetic kids), and HomeTeam and Rodney Scott’s for BBQ enthusiasts.

Oysters from 167 Raw

SUPPER
There are some amazing options for your nighttime meal. No reservations? Join the line! Some places you can check out are Chubby Fish (arrive at 4:30 and get on the waiting list for the night), 167 Raw (expect a 2-hour wait – head to Charleston Place for a drink), and Sorelle Mercato at lunch and bar area at dinner.

Worth the Reservation
Consider making a reservation at Zero George, Sorelle, The Ordinary, Hall’s, or Chez Nous if you’re feeling adventurous. If you are looking for a view, look into Fleet Landing. Other top spots include Husk, FIG, Leon’s, Melfi’s, La Farfelle, Renzo for pizza and Hank’s for the seafood tower.

Nearby Dining Spots
Post House in the Old Village and Obstinate Daughter on Sullivan’s Island are included in the Where to Eat in Charleston Guide because they are worth the drive. Also need a picture fro the ‘gram- these are top spots. Shem Creek is a top tourist spot and if you want good fried seafood with no fuss then The Wreck of Richard and Charlene on Shem Creek is for you.

On My List
Even for a local and CHS native, getting into these spots can be challenging! Vern’s and Honeysuckle Rose are on my must-visit list.

Rooftop Views from Market Pavilion

Drinks
Enjoy drinks with a view at these rooftop spots: Citrus Club in the Dewberry Hotel, The Watch, Satellite Bar at Stars and Market Pavilion. Sip on the espresso martini at Palmetto Hotel, savor champagne at Camellia’s in Hotel Bennett, and try the Moscow Mule at Rarebit (my personal fav after a full day of King Street shopping).

Extra Day? Do a King Street Stroll and pop into the various spots for an appetizer and beverage. So many to places you can enjoy!
