Our little family packed up the car and headed to Asheville, North Carolina for a few days to get out of the Charleston heat and humidity! We had such a great time and wanted to share some of our favorite finds with you!
Eat
Several people recommended Smoky Park Supper Club, and with good reason. The food was amazing, and the view was great too. I hear if you stick around until the sun goes down, the fireflies are out and about. How fun to watch!
We also tried the burgers at The Vault. It’s an old vault converted into a restaurant. Grab a seat outside and order the tater tots, trust me!
Do
Our favorite adventure was white water rafting courtesy of French Broad Adventures. Talk about team building. We had to paddle at the same time in the same directions and it was struggle! We decided we may need to do this yearly to make sure we are all in sync. It was the perfect rainy day activity, since we would be getting soaked anyway!
We also did a little shopping. Family of 3 girls, it is going to happen. Tops has the best shoes around and I fell in love with a little shop called Dunkin and York. Perhaps this Fried Chicken Map will be the catalyst for our next trip?
