Fall season means pumpkin time in our household, and one of the first things I make is this pumpkin dip recipe. It’s the perfect recipe for a sweet treat and a great snack to serve in the fall at Halloween parties, tailgates and more. This sweet treat is yummy served with apples and ginger snaps.

Here are the ingredients:

This is easy to make. Mix the pumpkin and cream cheese, full fat cream cheese works best. Then add the powdered sugar. Make sure it is sifted so there are no lumps, and you can adjust the amount of sugar added depending on how sweet you’d like the dip to taste. I do 1 1/2 cups usually. Add spices and mix well. You can also substitute nutmeg for the ginger and it still tastes deliciousness. Make this pumpkin dip in advance and refrigerate so it sets.

A few things: This makes a large amount, freeze for later use all season long.

Add a little nutmeg on the top before serving.

You can use an icing for cinnamon rolls and warm pumpkin bread. The melted pumpkin goodness tastes so good on a crisp, fall morning.
